"Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life’s longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you." (Khalil Gibran)
As hard as it might be to let my wooly children go, I always remind myself this poem. Although they come through my hands, they are all longing to find their loving families to live with.
So now it is Milan's turn to find his new home. He is available for adoption.
He is youngest of the three siblings, born in my hands this spring. As his sisters, Miara and Chiara, Milan is also 35 cm tall, fully movable and free standing doll. Due to the armature inside, he can move his head all directions, can bend his arms and legs, sit and stand unaided.
He is completely needle felted with pure clean wool and covered with organic doll making fabric. His hair is made with mohair wig. His eyes are embroidered, his cheeks and lips are colored with bees wax crayon.
He wears a shirt made with a beautiful Japanese cotton, a pair of shorts made with alpaca fabric, a hand knitted light mohair cardigan. He also has a reversible hat, a pair of socks and a pair of leather shoes made by me.
Milan is a little angler, yet all fishes are his friends. His best friend Albert, the fish, is travelling with him.
Milan has already found a loving home.
Thank you for your love and support.

Just magical. When I look at your sweet dolls it brings me back to childhood to the excitement yet peace of Christmas Eve and life was full of hope , contentment, and the safety of family.
